Acoustic for the Bridge School
Both notes name Neil Young and Elton John among five other performers the benefit also featured, and both call "Angel" particularly sweet. The house's remaster series file gives a pro-shot VHS as its source and numbers the seven songs as tracks in the order both chronologies list them.

On Sunday, November 1, 1992, Pearl Jam played the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View at the Bridge School Benefit, which both chronologies name in their headings and mark acoustic. Of the two chronologies, only Five Horizons prints an attendance, 18,000, and it brackets 35m after its heading without stating what it measures. Both lists run the same seven songs in one order, from "Footsteps" to "I Am a Patriot," and both notes say the band played "Jeremy" and "Black" in revised versions and premiered "Daughter."
The show
The Bridge School Benefit
Both chronologies head the night Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, CA, followed by Bridge School Benefit and an acoustic mark, each in parentheses, and Five Horizons' heading ends with its bracketed 35m. Both notes describe the Bridge School as a program for the communicative and educational development of non-speaking children with severe physical challenges. Both say the benefit also featured five other performers, Shawn Colvin, Sammy Hagar, Elton John, James Taylor and Neil Young, and neither note gives an order for the day. Of the two notes, only the chronology's calls the benefit sold out.
The Performance
Both chronologies run "Footsteps," "Jeremy," "Black," "Alive," "Daughter," "Angel" and "I Am a Patriot," the chronology capitalising the article in the last title, and neither marks an encore. The two notes then tell one account in nearly the same words, Five Horizons naming the band PJ where the chronology writes Pearl Jam. The band, they say, played "Jeremy" and "Black" in revised versions, without saying how, premiered "Daughter" and performed "I Am a Patriot," which both give as Steven Van Zandt's. Both notes call "Angel" particularly sweet and add that it had been played live only once before, without saying when or where.
The Next Step
The Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's last heading before this night is September 28, at the War Memorial Gym in Maui; Five Horizons dates its Maui heading September 27 and prints one more after it, October 16, at Madison Square Garden in New York, a heading that names a Bob Dylan tribute. Both chronologies put the next show sixty days later, on December 31, at The Academy; it is told in A Fast Wash on New Year's Eve.

What the Record Preserves
The chronology's entry ends with a remaster series line that names the band, the date and the Bridge School Benefit, then opens a parenthesis of three labels, the last an info-file, which the line does not close. Eight objects hang with the night's entry on the chronology's page: an untitled PDF whose file name reads ad and an untitled image named the same, images whose markup titles are Backstage pass and Ticket, the second before a credit, an image whose markup title names Eddie Vedder before a credit and one whose markup title names Stone Gossard, and two untitled links into the chronology's remaster series, a zip and a text file. The names in those titles are the chronology's identification, not captions. The house holds two text files for the night: a remaster series file and its fingerprint list. The remaster series file heads itself with the band, the date, the benefit and the amphitheatre, spelling the place Mountainview, as one word. It gives its source as a pro-shot VHS passed through a step printed as a bare question mark to CDR and SHN, its lineage as SHN, WAV, dEQ and FLAC, and notes some pops and clicks removed, the sound EQ'ed for tonal balance and the volume boosted. Its seven numbered tracks are the lists' seven songs in the same order, and it dates its compilation August 2020; the fingerprint file lists seven FLAC files named as the tracks are. Mountain View comes down to one amphitheatre and one benefit both chronologies name alike, an attendance of 18,000 and a 35m that of the two chronologies only Five Horizons prints, a sold-out benefit that of the two notes only the chronology's tells, one list of seven songs, one account of revised songs, a premiere and a Steven Van Zandt song in both notes, eight objects under the date, and a remaster series file whose tracks follow the lists.
