Angie and a Drum Solo
Of the two chronologies, only Five Horizons prints two encores and puts "W.M.A." in the second. The house's information file for the night lists an item labelled Crowd, which neither chronology prints.

On Saturday, July 17, 1993, Pearl Jam played a second night at the Rotterdam hall that the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology heads Ahoy´ Sportpaleis and Five Horizons Sportspaleis Ahoy. The chronology's attendance line reads 10 500 (sold out) and Five Horizons' 9,500, and Tribe After Tribe is the chronology's opening act and Five Horizons' support act. Both print a set of sixteen entries from "Oceans" to "Why Go," and they part over the encores, the chronology printing one and Five Horizons two. Both notes say the band improvised on "Angie," the Rolling Stones song, with changed words while the crowd joined in, and that Dave ended "Porch" on a drum solo they both call unusual.
The show
The Same Hall Again
Both chronologies place the hall in Rotterdam, the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology in the Netherlands and Five Horizons in Holland, and Five Horizons brackets 115m after its heading without stating what it measures. Both notes say the band was more comfortable at the Ahoy that night. Neither entry prints a capacity, a show time or a ticket price.
The Performance
Both chronologies print a set of sixteen entries from "Oceans" to "Why Go," each placing "Angie" between "State of Love and Trust" and "Black," the chronology in parentheses and Five Horizons with a descriptive label in parentheses after it. Both join a tag in parentheses to "Daughter." The chronology then prints one encore, which runs "Elderly Woman," "Leash," "Porch," Improv, "Footsteps" and "Baba O'Riley." Five Horizons prints two encores, "Elderly Woman," "Leash" and "Porch" with Drum Solo joined to it by a slash and no improvisation, then a second that carries "W.M.A." and ends with "Footsteps" and "Baba O'Riley," and the chronology's list has no "W.M.A." Both notes tell of the improvisation on "Angie" as the crowd joined in and of the drum solo that ended "Porch," and both quote a remark the singer made to the crowd.
The Next Step
The first Rotterdam night, the night before, is told in Even Flow in Question. Both chronologies put the next show the following night, July 18, at the Paradiso in Amsterdam; it is told in A Cold at the Paradiso.
Recording & sound
What the Record Preserves
Seven objects hang with the night's entry on the chronology's page: an image whose markup title reads Ticket before a credit, and six whose titles name Pearl Jam, after the word Backstage, in two and Eddie Vedder in four, each before a credit. Who is pictured is the chronology's identification in its markup. The chronology's entry has no remaster series line, and none of the seven objects links into that series. The house holds one text file for the night, a ConcertInfo information file. Its heading, 115m included, and its notes are Five Horizons' word for word, one source with it. Its twenty-three numbered items run from "Oceans," marked as cut at the start, to "Baba O'Riley," with no encore marks. They give an improvisation on "Angie" an item of its own, mark the start of "Black" as snipped, put an item labelled Crowd after "Why Go," and join an improvisation to "Porch" before a separate Drum Solo. Measured against Five Horizons' setlist and information, it says, the recording lacks parts of "Oceans" and "Black" and songs that Five Horizons lists, "W.M.A." among them, a claim about the recording, not the concert. The file puts the concert's digitizing and clean-up on 12/15/99. The second Rotterdam night comes down to one hall named two ways, two attendances, sixteen set entries in each chronology, encores divided two ways, "Angie" and a drum solo in both notes, seven objects and an information file that repeats Five Horizons.
