The First of Two in Boulder
The two chronologies' lists part at "Alive," which of the two only the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's carries, and their attendance lines part too, 4 000 and sold out against 3,800. The chronology's page carries three objects under the night's heading, among them one titled Ad and one titled Ticket.

On Friday, November 26, 1993, Pearl Jam played Balch Fieldhouse in Boulder, which both chronologies name, Five Horizons adding the University of Colorado. The Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's attendance line reads 4 000 (sold out) and Five Horizons' 3,800, and the two name Mudhoney and Urge Overkill in opposite orders, the chronology as opening acts and Five Horizons as support act. The two lists run in the same order, but of the two chronologies only the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology carries "Alive," so that it counts seventeen entries to Five Horizons' sixteen. The chronology's note calls this the first of two Boulder shows and says that a third was cancelled and that all three had sold out in under an hour.
The show
Two Figures and a Sell-Out
Both chronologies place the show at Balch Fieldhouse in Boulder, Five Horizons adding the University of Colorado, and neither heading brackets a figure. Neither chronology's entry prints a capacity, a show time or a ticket price. Of the two chronologies, only the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology marks the show sold out.
The Performance
The chronology's setlist line runs thirteen entries from "Go" and "Animal" to "Alive" and "Once," and its encore line holds "Rearviewmirror," "Whipping," "Indifference" and "Porch," seventeen in all. Five Horizons' set line gives the same entries in the same order without "Alive," twelve in all, and its encore line the same four, sixteen in all. Neither chronology prints a soundcheck.
The Next Step
Wichita, two nights earlier, is told in Black Started Over in Wichita. Both chronologies put the next show the following night, November 27, at the same fieldhouse; it is told in Mark Arm Joins In at Balch Fieldhouse.

What the Record Preserves
Five Horizons ends its entry with a line reading tour poster. Three objects hang under the night's heading on the chronology's page: an image whose markup title is Ad, one whose title reads Setlist before a credit, and one titled Ticket. Boulder's first night comes down to one fieldhouse, two attendance figures and a sold-out mark, the same two acts in two orders, two lists that part at "Alive," a cancelled third show that the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's note reports, and three objects.
