A Restart for State Of Love And Trust
The Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's note says the band rescheduled a cancelled Boulder show as the two Denver nights, and that Eddie stopped "State Of Love And Trust" before it was started again. The note places the premiere of "Spin The Black Circle" in the night's encore, while Five Horizons gives the premiere to March 7.

On Sunday, March 6, 1994, Pearl Jam played in Denver, at the theatre the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology heads as the Paramount Theatre and Five Horizons as the Paramount Theater. Five Horizons gives an attendance of 2,000 where the chronology prints no attendance line, and each bill line names The Frogs and no other act, the chronology's line labelled opening act and Five Horizons' support act. The chronology spreads twenty entries over a setlist of fifteen and an encore of five, from "Indifference" to "Rockin' In The Free World," and Five Horizons runs twenty in the same order on one set line. Of the two chronologies, only the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology carries a note, which says the two Denver shows made up for a cancelled show in Boulder.
The show
The Paramount's Two Spellings
The chronology spells the name Theatre, while Five Horizons, and the title in the house's metadata file for the night, spell it Theater. Neither chronology brackets a figure after its heading. The chronology's note sets the date November 28, 1993 straight after the cancelled Boulder show. No capacity, show time or ticket price appears in either chronology's entry.
The Performance
The chronology's setlist runs fifteen entries, opening with "Indifference," "Animal" and "Even Flow" and closing with "Go," "Black" and "Alive," and its eighth is "Daughter," joined by slashes to "Hunger Strike" and "Satan's Bed," each set in parentheses. Its encore runs Improv, "Spin The Black Circle," "Rearviewmirror," "Elderly Woman" with an ellipsis after it, and "Rockin' In The Free World." Five Horizons sets all twenty on a single set line with no encore line, its first fifteen in the order of the chronology's setlist and its last five in the order of its encore; its eighth joins "Satan's Bed" to "Daughter" but not "Hunger Strike," and it gives "Elderly Woman" without the ellipsis. The chronology's note says that Eddie sang words from "Hunger Strike" during the jam in "Daughter," and that he stopped "State Of Love And Trust," which was then started again. It says "Spin The Black Circle" was premiered in the encore; Five Horizons, which lists the song in its set line for the night, gives the premiere to March 7 in its entry for that night.
The Next Step
Seattle, 87 days earlier, is told in Whipping and Last Exit. Both chronologies put the next show the following night, March 7, at the same Denver theatre; it is told in Duct Tape at the Paramount.

What the Record Preserves
The chronology's entry has no line for its remaster series, and one object hangs under the date on its page, an image that the markup titles Ticket. The house holds four text files for the night, the same pair in each of two folders: an Internet Archive item's files list and its metadata file. The metadata file names Pearl Jam as the item's creator, 1994-03-06 as its date and audio as its media type, gives it a title naming the Paramount Theater, Denver, Colorado and USA, and says it was added and made public on June 7, 2014. It carries no description, source, lineage or notes field. The files list names seventy-seven files, among them twenty-four original MP3 files numbered by disc and track, nineteen on the first disc and five on the second. Leaving aside three labelled as banter and one as an intro, their labels give the chronology's twenty entries in its order, with "Daughter" carrying both of the chronology's parenthesised titles. The second disc opens with the intro label before "Rearviewmirror," so the item divides its two discs after "Spin The Black Circle," not where the chronology's encore begins. March 6 comes down to a theatre spelt two ways, an attendance figure from one chronology and a note from the other, The Frogs named by both, twenty entries in a shared order with "Daughter" joined two ways, a premiere the two chronologies place on different nights, one object and one Internet Archive item in two copies.
