An Extended Black in Sendai
Five Horizons prints no encore line for the night, running all twenty entries as one set, and where both notes call "Black" extended, it adds 7 minutes, with an exclamation mark. The house's one text file for the night, a Twenty-Ten information file, opens with Five Horizons' heading and note for the date.

On Saturday, February 18, 1995, Pearl Jam played Izumity 21 in Sendai, Japan, as both chronologies head the night, Five Horizons adding Sun Plaza in parentheses. Neither chronology prints an attendance or names an opening or support act, and the house's information file is silent on both. The Pearl Jam Concert Chronology lists fifteen entries from "Oceans" to "Blood" and an encore of five from "W.M.A." to "Indifference," and Five Horizons gives the same twenty in the same order as a single set. Both notes remark on an extended "Black," and Five Horizons' also gives "Last Exit" a slow intro.
The show
Sun Plaza in Parentheses
Five Horizons brackets 95m after its heading without stating what it measures, and the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's heading carries no figure. Five Horizons sets Sun Plaza in parentheses after Izumity 21, and neither chronology says what the parenthesis names. Neither chronology's entry prints a capacity, a show time or a ticket price.
The Performance
The chronology's setlist runs fifteen entries: "Oceans," "Last Exit," "Spin The Black Circle," "Tremor Christ," "Corduroy," "Not For You," "Dissident," "Animal," "Jeremy," "Black," "Rearviewmirror," "Act Of Love," "Daughter," joined by slashes to two labels, then "Why Go" and "Blood." Its encore line holds "W.M.A.," "Go," "Better Man," "Porch" and "Indifference," twenty entries in all. Five Horizons prints one set line of twenty entries and no encore line, the chronology's fifteen and then its five in the same order; it joins Improv, in parentheses, and labels of its own to "Daughter," and joins drum solo to "W.M.A." by a slash, where the chronology prints "W.M.A." by itself. Both notes call this night's "Black" an extended version, and Five Horizons adds 7 minutes in parentheses, with an exclamation mark. Five Horizons' note also gives "Last Exit" a slow intro, which the chronology's note does not mention.
The Next Step
Missoula, ten days earlier, is told in An Early Porch in Missoula. Tokyo, two days later, is told in Some Words in Japanese at the Budokan.

What the Record Preserves
The chronology's page hangs no object under the night's heading. The house holds one text file for the night: an information file of the Twenty-Ten series. It opens with Five Horizons' heading and note for the date, then numbers Five Horizons' twenty set entries in the same order and form. The file calls its recording complete, judged by the setlist and information, and dates its digitizing to 5/26/99. It names no source, lineage or equipment for the recording and gives no times. February 18 in Sendai, in these documents, is Izumity 21 with a parenthesis in Five Horizons, no attendance or opening act in either chronology, twenty entries that the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology splits into a set and an encore and Five Horizons runs as one set, an extended "Black" in both notes, no object under the chronology's heading and one house file that follows Five Horizons.
