An Extended Baba O'Riley at the Music Bowl
The Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's note says Eddie played "Throw Your Arms Around Me" solo in the encore and calls the closing "Baba O'Riley" very extended. The two chronologies spell the venue differently, Myer against Myers, and each gives the night twenty-six entries.

On Saturday, March 18, 1995, Pearl Jam played in Melbourne, at the venue that the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology heads as the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Five Horizons as the Sidney Myers Music Bowl. The chronology's attendance line reads 20 000+ (sold out), while Five Horizons gives a range of 13,000-30,000. Both name The Meanies as the opening act in the chronology and as the support act in Five Horizons. The chronology's setlist runs nineteen entries from "Corduroy" to "Alive," and its two encores add four and three more, the second closing with "Baba O'Riley," for twenty-six entries in all. Five Horizons has no encore line and sets twenty-six entries on one set line. Both notes call the setlist cool and the night very on.
The show
Myer or Myers
The two chronologies spell the venue two ways, the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology with Myer and Five Horizons with Myers, and both place it in Melbourne, Australia. Five Horizons brackets 121m after its heading without stating what it measures, and the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's heading carries no figure. The chronology gives an attendance of 20 000+ and marks the night as sold out, and Five Horizons gives a range of 13,000-30,000 with no such mark. The chronology's note says that after a few hundred fans had broken through the gates, security could not stop the thousands of ticketless fans who then came in to watch from the perimeter. Five Horizons' note also has a few hundred fans breaking through the gates, after which security let ticketless fans inside the barricades to watch from the perimeter. Neither chronology entry gives a capacity, a door or stage time, a ticket price, a promoter, or how tickets were sold.
The Performance
The chronology's setlist runs nineteen entries: "Corduroy," "Whipping," "Last Exit," "Tremor Christ," "Spin The Black Circle," "Animal," "Dissident," "State Of Love And Trust," "Daughter," joined by slashes to two labels, then "Blood," "Jeremy," "Why Go," "I Got Id," "Rearviewmirror," "Better Man," Improv, "Not For You," "Go," and "Alive." The chronology's first encore holds "Once," "Satan's Bed," "Footsteps," and "Porch," and its second "Throw Your Arms Around Me," marked as an Eddie solo, "Yellow Ledbetter," and "Baba O'Riley." The chronology's three lines total twenty-six entries. Five Horizons prints twenty-six entries on a single set line and prints no encore line. The chronology's note says Eddie played "Throw Your Arms Around Me" solo in the encore and calls the closing "Baba O'Riley" very extended. In both notes, the setlist is cool and the night very on.
The Next Step
The Flinders Park Tennis Centre in Melbourne, the night before, is told in Dave Grohl at Flinders Park. Both chronologies head March 21, three days later, in Brisbane; it is told in Two Question Marks in Brisbane.

What the Record Preserves
The night's entries in the two chronologies carry no recording line and no remaster series line. Four objects hang under the night's heading on the chronology's page. They are an image whose markup title reads Ad, an untitled PDF, an untitled image, and an image whose markup title reads Ticket, ahead of a credit. The Music Bowl on March 18 comes down, in these documents, to a venue spelled two ways, 121m that Five Horizons brackets without saying what it measures, an attendance of 20 000+ (sold out) in the chronology and a range of 13,000-30,000 in Five Horizons, The Meanies on both bill lines, twenty-six entries in each chronology, an Eddie solo and a very extended closer by the chronology's note, a setlist both notes call cool, and four objects under the date.
