A Partying Mood in Brisbane
Both chronologies' notes find the band in a very partying mood that night. The house holds five text files for the night, a Twenty-Ten information file and, in each of two folders, a remaster series information file with its fingerprint list.

On Sunday, March 15, 1998, Pearl Jam played in Brisbane, at a venue that the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology heads as the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Five Horizons as the Entertainment Centre. Five Horizons prints an attendance of 15,000, and Shudder to Think is the act on both bill lines, the chronology's opening act line and Five Horizons' support act line. Both chronologies' main lists open with "Long Road" and "Go" and close with "Habit" and "Rearviewmirror," and both give the same two encores, the first from "Mankind" to "Blood" and the second from "Indifference" to "Rockin' in the Free World." Both notes say the singer sang "Throw Your Arms Around Me" beautifully.
The show
Date and Place
Five Horizons brackets 116m after its heading without stating what it measures. Its heading gives the date as 03/15/98, and the Pearl Jam Concert Chronology's gives March 15, 1998, each with Brisbane, Australia, as the place.
The Performance
The chronology's setlist runs from "Long Road" to "Rearviewmirror," and its entries include, in order, "Go," "Do The Evolution," "Brain Of J.," "In Hiding," "Alive," "Last Exit," "Wishlist," "Corduroy," "MFC," "Nothingman," "Even Flow," "Jeremy," "Given To Fly," "Throw Your Arms Around Me," "Off He Goes" and "Habit." Five Horizons' set line gives, in order, "Long Road," "Go," "Do the Evolution," "Brain of J," "In Hiding," "Alive," "Last Exit," "Wishlist," "Corduroy," "MFC," "Nothingman," "Even Flow," "Jeremy," "Given to Fly," "Throw Your Arms Around Me," "Off He Goes," "Habit" and "Rearviewmirror." Both chronologies give the same five entries for the first encore, in the same order, "Mankind," "Hail Hail," "Not for You," "Better Man" and "Blood," and the same two for the second, "Indifference" and "Rockin' in the Free World."
Of "Throw Your Arms Around Me," both notes say the singer sang it beautifully. On "Mankind," both notes say, Stone went off completely and was having a great time, and so, they add, was the crowd. Both notes call "Rockin' in the Free World" a highlight, saying Jeff bounced from one side to the other. Someone, they add, got on the stage and played the singer's guitar. Both notes also say that a surfer and musician helped out on one song, "Rockin' in the Free World." They find the band in a very partying mood.
The Next Step
The night before, March 14, at the same venue, is told in Breakdancing in Brisbane. Perth, four nights later, on March 19, is told in The Singer in a Mask at Perth.
Recording & sound
What the Record Preserves
The objects the chronology's page hangs under the night's heading include an image whose markup title reads Ticket, another image, and two untitled links into its remaster series, one to a zip file and one to a text file. The house holds five text files for the night: a Twenty-Ten information file and, in each of two folders, a remaster series information file and its fingerprint list, the second folder's two files identical to the first's. The Twenty-Ten file's opening lines repeat Five Horizons' heading, with its bracketed figure, and Five Horizons' note. The file's numbered labels run in one group, and after them the file calls its recording complete when set against the setlist and the information it cites, which is a claim about the recording, not the concert. The remaster series information file opens with three lines that name the band, the date, and the venue with its city and country. Its source line starts at Core Sound Binaurals and ends at FLAC, and its lineage line starts and ends at FLAC as well. March 15 in Brisbane comes down to one venue in two forms, a bracketed figure, Five Horizons' attendance of 15,000, one act on both bill lines, main lists that open and close alike, the same two encores in both chronologies, notes that praise the singing of "Throw Your Arms Around Me" and find the band in a partying mood, an image titled Ticket among the objects, and five house files.
